On March 14, 2019, U.S. companies VulcanThreadedProductsInc. On February 21, 2019, submit the application, the us Commerce Department announced on imports from mainland China, India, Taiwan and Thailand’s carbon alloy steel screw (CarbonandAlloySteelThreadedRod) initiated antidumping investigation, at the same time on imports from China and India’s product launch anti-subsidy investigation.The case involves products under us harmonized tariff codes 7318.15.5051, 7318.15.5056 and 7318.15.5090, and some products under us harmonized tariff codes 7318.15.2095 and 7318.19.0000.The U.S. international trade commission (USITC) is expected to issue its preliminary industrial injury finding in the case no later than April 8, 2019.If the U.S. international trade commission determines that the imports of the products involved have caused material injury or threat of material injury to the U.S. domestic industry, the U.S. department of commerce will continue to investigate the case and is expected to make a preliminary countervailing finding on May 17, 2019, and an initial anti-dumping finding on July 31, 2019.

 According to us statistics, in 2018, us imports of carbon alloy steel screws from China, India, Taiwan and Thailand totaled about 104.7 million us dollars, 35.8 million us dollars, 51.1 million us dollars and 5.8 million us dollars respectively.
